1. Person who become blind after his/her birth can see images in their dreams. In dreams, they can sense sound, smell, touch and emotion.Dream will make virtually all physical situation to make it happen than in imagination.
2.After 5 minutes of waking, 50% of your dream is forgotten, within 10 minutes, 90% is gone.
3. All human dream.Men and women have different dream and physical reaction.Men dreams more about other men, women dream about both.
4.Recurring Dreams
While the content of most dream only once, many people experience recurring dreams-that is, the same dream narrative is experience over diffrent occasions of sleep. Up to 70% of female and 65% of males report recurrent dreams.
5. Body Paralysis
Rapid eye movement(REM) sleep is a normal stage of sleep characterized by rapid movement of the eyes. REM sleep in adult humans typically occupies 20-25% of total sleep, about 90-120 minutes of a night's sleep.
6.During REM sleep the body is paralyzed by a mechanism in brain in order to prevent the movement which occur in the dream from causing the physical body to move.However, it is possible for this mechanism to be triggered before, during, or after normal sleep while the brain awakens
7. Not Everybod Dreams in Color
A full 12% of sighted people dream exclusively in black and white. The remaining number dream in full color.Studies from 1915 through to the 1950s maintained that the majority of dreams were in black and white, but these result began to change in the 1960s. Today, only 4.4% of the dreams of under-25 year-olds are in black and white.Recent research has suggested that those changing result may be linked to the switch from black and white film and tv to color media.
8.Daydream
Studies show that we all have the tendency to daydream an average of 70-120 minutes a day. Day dreaming is classified as a level of consciousness between sleep and wakefulness. It occurs during our level of awareness decreases, we lose ourselve in our imagined scenario and fantasy.
9. Nightmare
A nightmare is a disturbing dream that causes the dreamer to wake up feeling anxious and frightened. Nightmare may be a response to real life trauma and situation. These tyoe of nightmare fall under a special category called Post-traumatic stress nightmare (PSN). Nightmare may also accur because we have ignored or refused to accept a particular life situation. Research shows that most people who have regular nightmares have had a family history of psychiatric problems, bad drug experiences, people whohave contemplated suicide,and/or rocky relationships. Nightmares are an indication of a fear that needs to be acknowledged and confronted.It is a way for our subconscious to make up take notice.
